An online education can offer opportunities for students to pursue their educational objectives when attending school in a traditional classroom is not practical or possible. With Indiana Business College's online education, a quality education is now available when and where it is convenient for you. With Harrison College Online, you can complete 100 percent of your education from the comfort of your own home, workplace or wherever there is internet access. All you need is a computer, a phone connection and an internet service provider (ISP) and you can earn a degree in as little as 18 months!

Diploma in Accounting Assistant (Online)


This program covers basic bookkeeping, computerized accounting and beginning accounting theory. It prepares students for entry-level positions in billing, accounts payable or receivable, or bookkeeping. Upon completing this program, students may transfer all earned credits toward the Accounting--Associate of Applied Science degree program.

Diploma in Office Assistant (Online)


This program provides the essential training for general administrative support positions. Basic bookkeeping principles are included to enhance preparation for the clerical work many office assistants are expected to handle. After completion of this program, students may transfer all earned credits toward the administrative professional associate of applied science degree program.

Associate of Applied Science in Accounting (Online)


This program is designed to provide specific preparation for private and public accounting as well as the advanced areas of general accounting. Graduates are prepared for positions in private business, public accounting and government. The program provides an excellent foundation for the student to begin a career in cost accounting, tax accounting or internal auditing.

Associate of Applied Science in Administrative Professional (Online)


This program provides extensive training in utilization of current office technology, keyboarding proficiency, accounting, and business communication, all of which are required for success in today's fast-paced and multifaceted administrative support positions.

Associate of Applied Science in Business Finance (Online)


This program provides the student with an extensive business background, focusing on principles and techniques of effective administration. Specialized courses in sales and marketing will prepare the student to become a management trainee in administration, manufacturing, retail, restaurant and many other related industries.

Associate of Applied Science in Business Management (Online)


This program provides students with an extensive business background, focusing on principles of management. The program includes specialized courses in the use of electronic software designed to enhance the effectiveness of one's ability to plan, implement, monitor and evaluate the status of a project. Graduates of the program are prepared to begin careers as manager trainees or project assistants in any number of industries.

Associate of Applied Science in Business Marketing (Online)


This program provides students with an extensive business background, focusing on principles of marketing. Specialized courses provide the foundation for students to begin careers in retail management, sales, advertising and many other related industries.

Associate of Applied Science in Human Resources (Online)


This program trains individuals to maintain personnel records of an organization's employees, assist with internal and external notification of position openings, assist in the hiring process, answer employee questions, prepare reports for managers, administer aptitude tests and screen applicants.

Associate of Applied Science in Logistics (Online)


This program provides students with a thorough understanding of theory and application related to the advanced demand of planning and designing systems of movement for goods and services. Students are able to collect and analyze data, identify alternative solutions and select the most appropriate course of action for product and service delivery. Graduates of the program are prepared to serve as supervisors, managers, analyst, logisticians, and other leadership roles in the logistics industry.

Bachelor of Science in Accounting (Online)


The Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree program provides students with an understanding of theory and applications related to an accounting environment, including training in the areas of performance analysis, budgeting, managing controls, taxation and auditing. The Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting prepares professionals for jobs in private businesses, government or nonprofit agencies and public accounting firms. The program has been developed as a completion program for students who have graduated from an accredited associate degree program in accounting or a related area, or who have earned equivalent college credit. Additional coursework may be required in order to meet the prerequisites of the courses included in the Accounting program.

Bachelor of Science in Business Management (Online)


The Bachelor's in Business Management program provides business students with a thorough understanding of theory and application related to the business environment so they are able to collect and analyze data, identify alternative solutions and select the most appropriate course of action for specific business problems. The program seeks to develop knowledge and skills in research, critical thinking, problem-solving and current technology for application and use in communication, data collection/analysis and solving business problems. Furthermore, students will be provided with an understanding of professional ethics and its application to the business environment. Students are involved in teamwork and leadership development through participation in classroom activities and student organizations. The program has been developed as a completion program for students who have graduated from an accredited associate degree program in Accounting, Business Finance, Business Management, Business Marketing, Human Resources, a related area or who have earned equivalent college credit. Additional coursework may be required in order to meet the prerequisite requirements of the courses included in the business management program.

Bachelor's - Fashion Merchandising (Online)


The Fashion Merchandising Bachelor of Science program provides students with a combination of highly creative, fashion-oriented courses as well as a solid business background. It prepares students for the fast-paced, competitive fashion merchandising field. Students gain an understanding of the theory and application needed in this highly competitive fashion industry. The program includes expanded knowledge of merchandising which integrates creative components and sound business practices within the world of fashion. Graduates of this program will move into job opportunities with confidence and professionalism prepared for positions such as assistant buyers, fashion directors, fashion show promoters, retail managers, or visual merchandisers.

Bachelor's - Human Resources (Online)


This program provides a strong foundation in business management and human resources skill sets highly valued in today's competitive employment market. Human Resources courses will cover such topics as recruiting, compensation and benefits, training and development, labor relations, employee relations, and development of organizational policy and procedures.
