Associate of Arts in Business Administration (AABA)


The goal of this entry-level program in Business Administration is to provide students with a liberal arts foundation that focuses on knowledge that is essential for success in business operations, including proper use of English in business communication. They will also have opportunities to study methods involved in promoting products or services, such as marketing strategies and consumer behavior.

Coursework in this program also challenges students to gain an understanding of financial markets, banking and the business economy and become familiar with office technology and computer applications.

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)


AIU recognizes that collegiate-level learning can take place outside of the traditional college classroom. The university's Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) program offers students the undergraduate degree completion pathway to demonstrate mastery of collegiate-level knowledge and skills to meet lower-level requirements through the evaluation of college transfer credit, military training and occupational specialty, standardized examinations, experiential learning, and professional training or certifications in the Bachelor's Degree Completion program.

AIU's Bachelor's degree in Business Administration can give students an understanding of international issues and knowledge of current business technologies. The program includes general education courses necessary for building communication and analytical skills, as well as courses in business, finance, marketing and information technology. The day program is divided into ten-week terms and students can complete four courses each term. Evening courses are also available so that students can complete the program while maintaining full-time employment.
