At Brown Mackie College — St. Louis, you don't need to wait for a traditional "Fall Start." Because our students aren't always living "traditional" lives we offer new starts each month with day or evening classes that fit your schedule. Each class lasts one month. Diploma - Accounting


The accounting program is generally designed to prepare students for entry-level employment in accounting positions in various types of business organizations. This program meet their objectives through instruction in appropriate accounting, business and technical courses.
Diploma - Business


The business program generally prepares graduates with the skills necessary for entry into the contemporary world of business through instruction in business practices and principles, technical business procedures and appropriate microcomputer applications. Graduates are prepared for entry-level roles in a variety of management positions.
Associate of Applied Science - Accounting Technology


The Accounting Technology programs generally prepare graduates for entry-level employment in accounting positions in a variety of business organizations. Students receive a solid foundation in accounting and business principles, and general education.

Upon successful completion of the program, students are able to:

Associate of Applied Science - Business Management


The Business Management program is designed to prepare graduates for entry-level employment and the business field. Students have an opportunity to receive a solid foundation in management principles and business technology, computer operations, and general education.

Through a successful completion of the program, students will have learned to: Manage a small business; manage a payroll; apply marketing and advertising principles; produce presentation materials in PowerPoint; generate spreadsheets; utilize human resource practices; communicate effectively, orally and in writing; prepare written reports; use the Internet to communicate with clients and co-workers. Entry-level employment opportunities may exist in the areas of Office Management. Sales, Administrative Assistant, Human Resources, Assistant Account Representative, Customer Service Representative, and Entrepreneur/Self-Employment.
Associate of Applied Science - Occupational Therapy Assistant*


The Occupational Therapy Assistant program is designed to prepare graduates for entry-level employment working under the direction of an occupational therapist. Students are trained to administer occupational therapy treatments to individuals who have lost functional abilities due to illness, injury or disease. Coursework combines lecture, laboratory, and clinical experiences. General Education elements of the program can enhance students' communication and problem-solving skills to enhance their effectiveness in the occupational therapy profession. The program is designed to prepare the graduate for the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) Certification Examination for Occupational Therapy Assistants. Students have an opportunity to develop a solid foundation in occupational therapy, including: Anatomy and physiology, Medical terminology, Structural kinesiology, Neurological dysfunction, Mental health concepts and techniques. Assessment of function, Adaptive living skills, Physical rehabilitation. Entry-level employment opportunities may exist with Hospitals, Offices of Health Practitioners, Offices of Occupational Therapists, Nursing Care Facilities, Community Care Facilities and Home Healthcare Services.

Associate of Applied Science - Office Management


The associate's degree program in Office Management prepares students for entry-level administrative positions and to use software products to provide business support and solutions in an office setting. This program includes general and business courses, including an introduction to accounting and payroll, that round out the educational experience. Graduates will be prepared for a wide variety of employment options because of the versatility of the skills acquired through this program.
Bachelor of Science - Business Administration


Students in the business administration program gain the knowledge and skills to enter a variety of fields in a business capacity or advance in their current profession। Through general studies and business-related coursework, graduates of this program have a practical foundation of principles and procedures that they can put to work in this ever-changing domain.
