College of Arts and Sciences

In spring 2009, the College of Arts and Sciences launched its first Ph.D. program in community psychology. The B.A. in Applied Behavioral Sciences is the university's most popular undergraduate degree and the B.S. in Health Care Leadership degree is also in an accelerated format for those students looking to get ahead in today's fast growing health care field. Graduate studies include those in adult education, psychology (the largest non-clinical graduate program in the state of Illinois), counseling, public policy and written communication, to name a few.

Bachelor of Arts in Political Science

To understand how political systems work, at the local, state, national and international level, is to be engaged as a citizen—and as an active member of a global society. The NLU Political Science program gives you the tools to develop, interpret and manage policies that affect how we live and work—and introduces you to the concept of social justice and its role in today's society.
