Accreditation

Marylhurst University carries regional accreditation, the dominant institutional accreditation used in the United States, from the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities.* Marylhurst University's regional accreditation espouses more rigorous standards than programs that hold national accreditation.

Consequently, many regionally accredited educational institutions do not recognize credits or degrees earned at nationally accredited universities or colleges. This may impact students who are midway through a degree program and intend to transfer or pursue studies at another accredited institution. You are safe with Marylhurst's reputation.

Our business programs carry specialized accreditation from the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education** (IACBE), which is dedicated to enhancing the academic experience through outcomes assessment.
